The women's basketball team held visiting Cayuga CC to single digits in the 1st and 3rd quarters en route to a 56-45 MSAC win at home on Saturday afternoon.  Brooke Gipe (Poland, NY/Poland) held Dontasia Britt to 9 points and Maddie Blackman (Conklin, NY/Susquehanna Valley) held Maxine Williams to 4 points on Saturday.  Britt and Williams combined for 35 points back on January 14th in the Spartans 75-53 win.  

Blackman led all scorers with 16 points and had 12 rebounds, Lucille Dellos (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) added 14 points, Jessica Shear (Endwell, NY/Maine-Endwell) had 10 points and Gipe chipped in with 8 points. Chandler Prouty (Oneonta, NY/Milford) dished out 5 assists to go along with 4 points and 8 boards.

The Hornets travel to Corning CC this Wednesday for a MSAC contest scheduled to tip off at 5:00 p.m.
