The women's basketball season came to an end Wednesday evening with a 60-45 loss against Jefferson CC. Maddie Blackman ended her career at SUNY Broome like she did in most MSAC games by posting another double-double. She had 17 points and 12 rebounds and teammate Ashley Lomonaco added 9 points and 6 boards. Blackman and Lomonaco combined for a 14-17 showing at the free throw line. Riley Luckie led the Cannoneers with 21 points including 5-6 from the 3-point line.
The Hornets ended the season 3-19 overall and 1-11 in the MSAC.
