The women's basketball team fell in their home opener against the Ithaca College Club team Wednesday night in the Baldwin Gymnasium. The Bombers got out to an early lead and never looked back. Ana Farahane led the Hornets with a double-double in her collegiate debut with 19 points, 10 boards and 5 assists. Sam Acuna chipped in with 7 points and Courtney Petticoffer added 4 points, 2 steals and a block. Ithaca saw five players in double digits, led by Xin Xin Tarren with 23 points including 4 3-pointers.

Broome will travel to Johnstown, NY this Sunday for a 1:00 p.m. game against Fulton-Montgomery CC.
