Nationally Ranked Division II Niagara County To Much For Hornets

The NJCAA Division II nationally ranked Thunderwolves (18th) ran away from the Hornets for the 84-38 road win on Wednesday night in the Baldwin Gymnasium. The first half looked promising for Broome, going into the half down by 12 points, 36-24 but a 14 point second half by the host team ended all hopes of getting back into the game. Ana Farahane had 14 points and 11 boards and Janasia Perkins had a collegiate best with 15 points. Niagara County saw four players hit the double digit mark led by Alliyah Gillespie's 13 points.

The Hornets head up to Queensbury, NY on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. game against SUNY Adirondack in their final game of the semester.
