Hornets Fall In 2nd Half

The Hornets weren't able to protect a 35-27 halftime lead and fell to Tompkins Cortland 70-57 on Saturday in Dryden. Turnovers in the second half proved costly for Broome in their second MSAC game.

Ana Farahane turned in another double-double with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Graci Standish-Warpus had a solid game shooting 55% from the floor to finish with 14 points and added 3 assists. Courtney Petticoffer contributed with 11 points and 12 rebounds for her second double-double in a row. Annie Tokos' play on the defensive end of the floor contributed to the Hornets first half lead.

The Hornets return home for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off against the NJCAA's 7th ranked team in the Onondaga Lazers.
