Miranda (Giff) competed every second of every practice whether it be on the court or on the field.  Her enthusiasm, dedication, and work habits were second to none.  No matter what the challenge, Miranda rose to the occasion and brought everyone along with her.  Her actions both on and off the court are the reasons she was held in such high regard by her teammates and coaching staff, leading her to be named Captain of the basketball team.  She had an impact on every player and coach when she came into a practice.  Her strong character, work ethic and pride in being a Hornet was, and will remain, contagious to everyone who was around her.  She will be missed!
