The women's basketball team dropped both of their games at home this weekend to North Country CC on Saturday 72-30, and to Clinton CC on Sunday 49-45. The Hornets offensive struggles continued in Saturday's game, failing to score in double digits in each quarter. Broome was led by Clyneia Willard with 7 points while teammates Kasey Krewson, Airin Rynearson and Makayla Saunders each chipped in with 6 points. Willard grabbed 9 rebounds, Julianna Mushalla had 4 assists and Krewson blocked 5 shots in the game.
Sunday's game against Clinton showed a marked improvement over Saturday's contest. Three Hornets scored in double figures, led by Mushalla's 14 points and 5 assists. Saunders added 11 points and 7 boards, and Krewson had 10 points and 6 blocks. Samantha Cower came off the bench to contribute 5 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Broome is off until Saturday, December 2nd when they travel to Herkimer College for a 1:00 P.M. tipoff.
