Broome Earns Win At Home

The women's basketball team picked up a home win on Saturday, defeating SUNY Adirondack by a score of 53-34 in the Baldwin Gymnasium.  The Hornets held the Timberwolves to 16 first half points and took a 12 point lead into halftime, thanks to an 11-point performance by Vanessa Groover coming off the bench.  Broome saw all dressed players get into the scoring column led by Vivian Ladd's 13 points.  Anna Hotalen added 9 points and 9 rebounds and Ashley Barnhart chipped in with 6 points and 4 boards.  Ladd added 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks to her totals and Calista Smith had 5 assists and a steal to go with her 4 points.

Broome ends the first half of their season this Thursday against Northampton CC scheduled for a 5:00 P.M. tipoff in the Baldwin Gymnasium.
