Broome opened up the semester with a 54-47 MSAC win over Finger Lakes CC in the Baldwin Gym on Thursday night.  The Hornets took a four point lead into the locker room at halftime, a lead they would not relinquish the remainder of the game.

Vivian Ladd led all scorers with 20 points, had 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 6 steals and 3 blocks to add to her stat line.  Calista Smith came close to a double-double with 13 points and 9 boards, Bekah Richter added 9 points and 8 rebounds and Anna Hotalen pulled down 10 rebounds.

Broome returns to the Baldwin Gymnasium on Saturday for another MSAC game at noon against Tompkins Cortland CC.
