Eichler Named To MSAC And Region III Teams

Oneonta grad Ava Eichler was named to the 2022-23 MSAC All-Conference Team and the 2022-23 Region III Second Team All-Region for the second time. 

Eichler led the team this year in conference play in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 17.3 ppg and 8.7 rpg despite being hampered by an injury late in the season and the focal point of most defenses. She also led the Hornets in 3-pointers with 32 and appearances at the charity stripe with 84 on the season.

Eichler finished her career at Broome averaging 17.8 ppg, 231 of her points coming by way of the 3-ball. She also finished 70% from the free throw line and averaged 6 boards a game. Ava was also named Region III Player of the Week two times while playing at SUNY Broome.
