The women's lacrosse team lost to CCBC Essex 19-11 Friday afternoon at Alumni Field in a non-conference lacrosse match. Broome played CCBC solid in the first half trailing 10 -7 before CCBC pulled away in the second. Jerine Klingberg (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) led the Hornets with five goals and nine draw controls.

The Hornets travel to Buffalo on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. Region III lacrosse match.
