In what was more like a volleyball score than a lacrosse score the women lost 25-21 early Sunday afternoon at Binghamton's Alumni Stadium against Jefferson CC. The Hornets got on the board 20 seconds into the game on a goal by Sarah Espe (Johnson City, NY / Johnson City), her first of three for the afternoon. Julia Lovaglia (Vestal, NY/Vestal) led Broome with 6 goals and an assist while teammates Gina Lovaglia (Vestal, NY/Vestal) and Chelsea Cable (Endwell, NY/Maine-Endwell) each had 5 goals. Stella Safari (Johnson City, NY / Johnson City) rounded out the scoring with 2 goals and an assist. Nicole DiRado (Vestal, NY/Vestal) had 5 saves in net for the host team.
