Women's Lacrosse Team Stumbles In Buffalo

The women's lacrosse team stumbled on the road Wednesday in Buffalo, losing 16-7 to the Kats from Erie CC. Julia Lovaglia led the Hornets with 3 goals and 1 assist, Chelsea Cable added 1 goal and 2 assists and Hannah Conrad, Ellen Armstrong and Sarah Espe each added 1 goal in the Region III contest. Armstrong's goal was her first of the season. Nicole Dirado had 16 saves on 32 shots in net for Broome.

The Hornets return home to Alumni Field on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. match against the Tribunes from Monroe CC.
