The women's lacrosse team fell to visiting Herkimer College in the last minute of play on Wednesday afternoon 18-17. Julia Lovaglia led the host team with 5 goals and 1 assist and lone second year player Sarah Espe had 3 goals in her last home game as a Hornet. Chelsea Cable had 3 goals and 1 assist, Stella Safari chipped in with 2 goals and Gina Lovaglia, Hannah Conrad, Ellen Armstrong and Emily Mills each added 1 goal apiece. Lovaglia and Conrad also added an assist for Broome. Nicole DiRado stopped 14 shots on goal in the losing effort.

The Hornets play their season finale in Saranac Lake next Wednesday against North Country CC.
