SUNY Broome Womens Soccer hosted Jamestown CC Sunday afternoon in a Region III matchup and came out on top 6-0. The Hornets had most of the possession for a 4-0 halftime lead. Kaelyn Michitti (Binghamton, NY/Seton Catholic) led the Hornets with a hat trick, Rosemary Zelenyak (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley), Amanda Tersigni (Edmeston, NY/Edmeston) and Alexa Rudilosso (Centereach, NY/Centereach) each added a goal. The final score of 6-0 was the result of a staunch defense that didn't allow a single shot on goal and an offensive surge that the visitors had no answer for. The Hornets outshot the Jayhawks 30-0 and had a 14-1 advantage in corners.

SUNY Broome (9-0;4-0 MSAC) will travel to Syracuse on Wednesday to face Onondaga CC for a matchup of MSAC rivals.
