Women's Soccer Notches 8th Shutout.

Clinton CC traveled to SUNY Broome on Sunday to take on the NJCAA's 6th ranked Hornets and fell to the host team 4-0. The game was back and forth for the first 20 minutes until Rosemary Zelenyak (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) scored at 21:21 from a crossing pass by Kaelyn Michitti (Binghamton, NY/Seton Catholic), which turned out to be the winning goal. Broome notched its 8th shutout of the season and moved their record to 11-1-1;5-0 MSAC. Michitti made it 2-0 at the half courtesy of a thru ball from Kourtnie Gooding (Owego, NY/Owego Free Academy).The second half started as the first did and at the 68:15 minute Gooding banged home a Michitti corner kick to make the score 3-0. Margaret Edwards (Brooklyn, NY/Leon M Goldstein) finished a cross by Emily Cortese (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) at 88:57 to finish the scoring.  

Broome will host Hudson Valley CC in a matchup of Region III heavyweights this Wednesday at 2:00 P.M.
