The women's soccer team defeated Erie CC in double OT 1-0 Saturday afternoon at home. Broome (13-1-1;5-0 MSAC) outshot Erie 24-3 in the hard fought, down to the wire game. The Hornets had trouble finding the back of the net until 1:18 of the second OT when Alexa Rudilosso (Centereach, NY/Centereach) scored a slick shot into the upper right hand corner of the net over the Kats keeper's outstretched hand.  Rudilosso received a beautiful through ball from a double assist by Rosemary Zelenyak (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) and Shelby Brassard (Spring Grove, PA/Home School).

Broome heads into the final regular season game on Wednesday scheduled to start at 4:00 P.M. against conference rival Tompkins Cortland CC at Alumni Field.
