Nicole Harmer (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) netted the lone goal to lead the Hornets to a 1-0 victory in their quarterfinal match against the College of DuPage. Harner's goal came courtesy of an assist from Rosemary Zelenyak (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) early in the second half. SUNY Broome outshot DuPage, out of Glen Ellyn, IL, 15-3 and held a 5-1 advantage in corners. Erinn Catlin (VanEtten, NY/Spencer-VanEtten) had 3 saves for the Hornets and the Chaparrals Kylie Paul had 11 saves.
SUNY Broome will face Brookdale CC at 1:30 P.M. in the NJCAA Women's Soccer National Championship Semi Finals at Ocean County CC in New Jersey.
