The women's soccer team fell in Dryden 1-0 in a MSAC matchup with Tompkins Cortland CC on Wednesday afternoon.  The Panthers (10-5; 9-5 Region III) scored the only goal in the game in the 12th minute on a breakaway when a Hornet (8-6-1; 6-6-1 Region III) defender was tripped up and gave Kelsey Clark a clear run to goal.

The Hornets generated a few good chances in the contest but failed to convert them into goals.  Broome keeper, Paige Finch had a masterful game making 15 saves on the afternoon to keep Broome within striking distance until the end.  The host team outshot the visitors 15-7 and held the advantage in corners, 5-2.

Broome will host Genesee CC, ranked #4 in the latest NJCAA poll with a record of 12-2-1, this Saturday at 1:00 P.M. to closeout the regular season.
