vs Erie
The women's soccer team dropped a tough game to the nation's top ranked team, Erie CC, 2-0 on Friday on the road.  The Hornets dropped to 9-4 overall while the Kats stayed undefeated at 12-0.  Broome played solid defense in the back and forth battle against the high powered Erie offense, allowing only one goal in the opening stanza and headed into the locker room down 1-0 on a goal by Mackenna Carpenter.

The second half was more of the same, a back and forth battle until the Kats' Jenna Schelble capitalized on a small defensive lapse to put them up 2-0 and the game out of reach in the late going.  Paige Finch had 7 saves in net for the Hornets.

Broome will go back out on the road Sunday for a Region III match in Plattsburgh to take on Clinton CC.
