In their final regular season game, Broome traveled to Batavia to take on Genesee CC, currently ranked #6, and came home on the short end of a 4-0 soccer match.  Paige Finch had an excellent day in goal making key saves including a penalty kick to keep the Hornets in the game for long periods of time.  The half ended 0-2 in favor of the Cougars but the Hornets kept fighting well into the second half before the host team got two late game goals to put the match out of reach.  

 

The Hornets stand at 11-5, good enough for a #7 seed in the Region III Tournament and will head back to Batavia to face the #2 seed, Genesee Cougars.
