The women's soccer team took an early 1-0 lead over Jefferson CC on Wednesday afternoon in a MSAC contest and never looked back en route to a 13-0 win. The Hornets dominated play scoring early and often, starting at 1:25 and tallying the final goal at 87:58.
Broome was led by Hannah Faulkner, Katelynn Griffiths, Daisy Allen and Alissa Franco who all recorded braces in the match. Once again the Hornet's defense was stellar allowing only 5 shots in total.
Broome improved to 4-2 on the season, all four wins coming via the shutout, while Jefferson dropped to 1-5. The Hornets return to Alumni Field this Sunday at noon for a non-conference match against SUNY ESF.
