Broome downed Onondaga CC, 5-1, in a key MSAC matchup on Wednesday afternoon in Syracuse.  After going down 1-0 to a Lazers breakaway, the Hornets stiffened defensively to shut down the host team the rest of the way.  Katelynn Griffiths finished a perfectly placed corner kick for the tying goal in the 23rd minute.   Hannah Faulkner iced the game with her first of two goals on the day, both on beautifully placed balls across the box out of the reach of the Lazer keeper.  Daisy Allen and Kayla Kromelbein finished the scoring, capping a dominant offensive display by the Hornets.  Goals were assisted by Luccia Martucci, Meaghan Farley, Griffiths, Kromelbein, Allen, Linsey Howell, and Faulkner.

The Hornets move to 5-3;3-1 MSAC on the season and the Lazers fall to 5-3;3-2 MSAC.  Up next is a Region III match against Hudson Valley this Sunday at Alumni Field on campus starting at 1:00 P.M.
