Three players from the SUNY Broome tennis team advanced in singles and one doubles team advanced to the semi-finals on Wednesday at the Billie Jean/USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows. Christi Sturdevant, No. 3 singles (Binghamton/Binghamton, NY), Lauren Crowley, No. 4 singles (Seton Catholic/Binghamton, NY) and Masha Karlgut, No. 6 singles (Union-Endicott/Endicott, NY) all moved on to the semifinals Thursday. Lindsey Crawford (Chenango Forks/Binghamton, NY) and Karlgut advanced at the No. 3 doubles flight.

The NJCAA National Championship Tournament resumes play at 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
