Broome opened up the 2018 season with an 8-1 win over Hudson Valley CC on Sunday afternoon at the Oz Winters Tennis Complex. At first doubles, returning sophomore Shyanne Daye and freshman Brianna Harmon came from behind to win their match 8-6 after trailing 6-3. At second doubles, freshmen Sara Figura and Breona Bogart won their first match 8-1. At number three singles, Kimberly Yuhnick easily won her match as did returning sophomore Kara Shanks dropping only one game between the two of them.
