The 3 second year athletes on the team, Ashleigh Nelson, Ashleen Speen, and Miranda Green were recognized before the Davis match for their contributions to the team.  Special recognition was given to Speen who surpassed the career kills record that was previously held by Val Hollister.  Hollister had held the record for 12 years.  Speen is currently at about 760 Career kills, surpassing the record by over 100 kills.
