The volleyball team swept Finger Lakes CC in the West Gym tonight as the team recognized their 2nd year players prior to the start of their match. Rachel Ballard, Sarah Raichlin and Paige Redmond were honored for their participation and efforts on the volleyball team.
The Hornets won by set scores of 25-13, 26-24 and 25-23. Stat leaders for the match were Madison Delaney-Hammond with 11 kills, Hannah Lazarus also had 11 kills to go along with her 8 blocks, Sarah Raichlin added 22 assists, Madison Hefley chipped in with 4 aces and Lauren Carpenter had 25 digs.
Broome improved to 12-4 on the season and travel to Sanborn, NY this Saturday to play in the Niagara County CC POD against Jamestown CC, Erie CC and the host team.
