The volleyball team swept Davis College in Johnson City on Thursday evening in a non-regional match. The Hornets won by set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-11. Stat leaders for the evening were Hannah Lazarus with 10 kills, Sarah Raichlin had 15 assists, Paige Redmond added 4 aces, Lauren Carpenter had 17 digs and Rachel Ballard chipped in with 3 blocks.
Broome improved to 17-9 overall and will host a POD tournament this weekend to bring their regular season to a close. Up first, at 9:00 a.m. Broome will play Genesee CC followed by Finger Lakes CC at 11:30 a.m. and Monroe CC at 1:00 p.m.
