Volleyball Earns Second Sweep In A Row

The volleyball team picked up their second sweep in a row, defeating MSAC opponent Corning CC on the road Wednesday afternoon by set scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 27-25.  Freshman setter, Brianna Kosinski totaled 31 assists, 11 digs, and 2 blocks on the night. Mackinzie Mee led the offense with 12 kills and a hitting percentage of .300 and also contributed 2 aces while teammate Hannah Brown contributed 5 kills. 

Alyssa Hovey led the defense with 24 digs and McKenzi Donahue added 14 digs.  Paige Taylor led the Hornets in blocks with 5 on the night.

Broome improved to 2-0 in the MSAC and travel to Syracuse next Wednesday for another MSAC volleyball match against Onondaga CC beginning at 6:00 P.M.
