Volleyball Drops First Match Of The Season

Broome suffered their first loss of the season on Wednesday evening in Watertown to MSAC opponent Jefferson CC, 3-1.  After dropping the first set 25-18, the Hornets came back big in the second set to win 25-8 but it was the Cannoneers that took the next two sets, 25-17 and 25-20 to win the match.

Brianna Kosinski had 41 assists, 24 digs and 2 aces to pace the Hornets. Mackinzie Mee had 13 kills and, Paige Taylor contributed with 10 kills and 6 blocks. 

Broome travels to Queensbury on Saturday for a Region III POD hosted by Adirondack CC and will face Hudson Valley CC, North Country CC and SUNY Adirondack beginning at 9:00 A.M.
