Broome Ends On A High Note

2018 NJCAA Division III Championships -9th place

The Hornets swept Nassau CC in their final match of the 2018 NJCAA Division III Volleyball Championships on Friday afternoon, good enough for a 9th place finish.  

Broome won the final match in straight sets against Nassau CC by set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-22.  Paige Taylor and Mackinzie Mee paced the offense with 12 kills a piece, Brianna Kosinski had 29 assists, and Taylor added 9 blocks to her totals.  Five players had double digit digs in the match, leading the way was McKenzi Donahue and Kosinski with 21 digs each, Rayna Pouliot had 15, Alyssa Hovey had 13, and Jessica Dye had 10.

The Hornets finished the season with a record of 30-7.  During the National Tournament Broome won 8 sets and only lost 3.
