The volleyball team defeated Cayuga CC in Auburn on Thursday evening by a score of 3-0, making it their third straight set sweep in a row over MSAC opponents. The Hornets improved to 3-0 with the win while the Spartans fell to 0-1. Broome won by set scores of 25-15, 25-9, 25-11.
Brianna Kosinski (Binghamton) totaled 30 assists to help Broome to .383 hitting percentage on the night. Savannah Davis (Union Endicott) had 13 kills, 5 aces, and 11 digs, Kylee Cunningham (Johnson City) added 8 kills while Macayla Greco (Union Endicott) had 7 kills.
Broome will travel to Watertown this Saturday for a tournament hosted by Jefferson Community College.
