Volleyball Wins Sub-Regional Match At Home

The volleyball team swept Onondaga CC, 25-20, 25-23 and 25-12 in the West Gymnasium on Tuesday night to advance to the Region III Championship this weekend.

The #7 seed Broome came out on top against the #10 seed Onondaga in the Sub-Regional matchup behind Megan Carden's 11 kills and Anna Tiberia's 27 assists. Brianna Rossi had 20 digs and Gabriella Bishop had a team-high 4 aces while Melissa Carden added 1 solo block and 2 block assists.

The Hornets will travel to Sanborn this weekend and face Jefferson CC, Erie CC and Jamestown CC in Pool B play.
