The women's cross country team placed two runners in the top ten at the MSAC Cross Country Championship held in Canandaigua on Saturday. Violet Learn (Troy, PA/Home School) led the Hornets with a time of 22:52, good enough for 3rd Place in the 5K race. Chelsea Burdick (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) finished 10th coming in at 26:27. Carolyn Edsell (LeRaysville, PA/Wyalusing Valley) and Brittni Duke (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) finished with times of 29:05 and 30:47 respectively.

Learn was named to the All-MSAC Team and will run for the Hornets next Saturday in the Region III Cross Country Championships hosted by Finger Lakes CC.
