The women's cross country team opened up their season Saturday in the Stephen Warde Invitational hosted by SUNY Cobleskill.  Avery Tompkins turned in a time of 26:06.8 for a finish in the 30th spot and Michelle Smetana placed 41st with a time of 30:23.19.
