Amber Neumuth logged a top-20 finish in the first meet of the season at Finger Lakes CC.
Saturday's invitational hosted by the Lakers of Finger Lakes opened up the regular season for the team as Broome was unable to particpate in the Frank Dillon Memorial Invite on August 31.
Instead, the season kicked off over the weekend with Amber Neumuth finishing in 19th place in the race for the Hornets, with a time of 36:28.7.
The team will be in action again on September 28 for the SUNY Polytechnic Invitational.
