This Week In Broome Hockey

The Hornets dropped another two games as the schedule rolls on and the Hornets have a record of 0-7-0. With the holidays approaching, the first half of the season is winding down and the Hornets have only one game over the next 7 days to improve on that record and build some momentum for the second half of the NJCAA schedule.

Tonight, the Hornets will take on the Elmira JV Eagles at SUNY Broome. The second game of a home and home, the Soaring Eagles took it to our Hornets out at the domes scoring early and often in a 9-1 beating. However, the Hornets have gotten back some suspended talent, and after a promising game against Hudson Valley, which they only lost 3-1, the team is more confident and ready to take on the Soaring Eagles one more time. The puck will drop at 7 PM so be sure to tune in as the Hornets look to go into the Thanksgiving break on a high note.

After tonight the Hornets are on hiatus for the holiday and would like to wish all of you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Be sure to check back as on November 30th the Hornets begin the final 4-game stretch before the month and a half break going into the second half of the season.
