SUNY Broome Hornets' Esports defeated Bismarck State College Mystics (Bismarck, ND), 3-0, on Monday, April 19th, in the first playoff game of the season.  Bismarck was undefeated before last night!  First Map was Busan.  After two team kills, Thomas Nicosia (Solider) had some huge plays to solidify the win (1-0).  Map 2 was Eichenwald, where both teams went back and forth, issuing a draw.  Map 3 was Valskaya.  Same action, same result, another draw.  Map 4 was Dorado.  Michael Willard (Reaper) fought off half of the Mystics, while the rest of the Hornets came together to defeat them, giving the Hornets the win (2-0).  Map 5 was Ilios.  Another back and forth round, but Patric Harter (Lucio) knocked their Mei off the map, Nick Gilbert (Ana) put their Reinhardt to sleep, and Lynnette Linares (D.Va) stuffed their McCree's ultimate before using her own, capturing the win (3-0).  

The next playoff game will be on Thursday, April 29th, at 8PM, competing against the Bryant & Stratton College Bobcats (Virginia Beach, VA).
