The men's basketball team lost on the road Thursday night to top ranked Region III opponent Mohawk Valley CC, 112-71. The Hawks size, and eventually their depth, proved to be too much for the Hornets as they took an early lead and continued to pull away in the second half.
Broome's top scorer on the night was Christian Sage with 24 points, including five 3-pointers, followed by Tron Smith with 13 points, and Fidel Brock with 10 points to go along with his team high 4 assists.
The Hornets are back in action at home this Saturday against SUNY Adirondack at 3:00 P.M. in the Baldwin Gym.
