Men's Lacrosse Team Comes From Behind To Pick Up First Win

The men's lacrosse team picked up their first win of the 2014 season in dramatic fashion, a 10-8 come from behind win over Mohawk Valley CC Thursday night in Utica, NY. The Hornets trailed the Hawks 8-5 going into the fourth quarter before scoring five unanswered goals for the come from behind win. Nate Krome (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) led SUNY Broome with 3 goals and 2 assists, Michael Ferranti (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) added 2 goals and 3 assists and Tiano Tedino (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) had 2 goals and an assist. Goalkeeper Zachary Ford (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Forks) had 22 saves and earned his first win of the season. 

SUNY Broome returns home this Sunday for a 1:00 p.m. lacrosse game against Northern Virginia CC at Binghamton Alumni Stadium.
