The men's cross country team placed 2nd in the Stephen A Warde Invitational on Saturday held at SUNY Cobleskill. The impressive performance saw Lucas Baker, Eric Repp and Conner Smith cross the finish line in the 7th, 8th and 9th spot respectively. Baker led all Hornets with a time of 28:16.96 followed by Repp at 28:28.04 and Smith finishing with a time of 28:45.35 on the 8K course. In all, Broome placed six runners in the top twenty in the field of fifty six. Donnell Davis (12th), James McDonald (14th) and Jakob Getchell (17th) helped pace the Hornets for the second place finish.

The Hornets will next compete at the Bridgman Invitational, hosted by Finger Lakes CC in Canandaigua, on Saturday September 18th beginning at 11:00 AM.
