The women's basketball team has received a commitment from Class of 2024 PG Sophia Ashman.

Ashman is a point guard from nearby Chenango Valley High School. 

Sophia averages 7.5 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 2.2 apg, and 2.7 spg on the year for her final high school season. Ashman has been a member of Chenango Valley's Honors with Distinction list throughout her career. She was awarded the 2023 Section IV Sportsmanship Award.
