The Hornets competed at the Cortland Upstate Alternative on Saturday at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex.
Despite the weather conditions, Conner Smith qualified for his second event in two weeks by placing 3rd in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:24.43.
