Jacob McTigue is this week's SUNY Broome Student-Athlete of the Week. McTigue led the Hornets to a 1-1 record over the weekend in a doubleheader against conference rival Tompkins Cortland CC. McTigue had an exceptional two-way performance, both hitting and pitching. Across two games, McTigue batted 3-5 (.600 batting average) with two doubles, a triple, an RBI, a walk, a hit-by-pitch, and a stolen base. He achieved a remarkable on-base percentage of .714. McTigue also pitched 9.2 innings, allowing just three earned runs and only two walks, striking out 13 batters. McTigue also had three putouts, two assists, and turned a double play in the field.
