Kaiden Cannistra, Baseball

Kaiden Cannistra from the baseball team is this week's SUNY Broome Student-Athlete of the Week. The Hornets played six games from April 21 to April 27, and Cannistra was instrumental in leading the team to a 4-2 record over that stretch. Over the six games, Cannistra batted .500 with 2 doubles, 7 RBIs, and 2 stolen bases. Cannistra collected 5 RBIs during a sweep of a doubleheader with a top team in Region III in Cayuga. He then batted 3-6 during a sweep of a doubleheader with Mohawk Valley. Cannistra was also 2-4 with a double and 2 more RBIs in the first game of a doubleheader against #5 Hudson Valley.
