Kendra Terrell, Women's Volleyball
Kendra Terrell from the women's volleyball team is this week's SUNY Broome Student-Athlete of the Week. Terrell was instrumental in the Hornets' 3-2 win over Mohawk Valley last Saturday. She recorded a match-high 42 assists, nearly 30 more than the leading assist-getter for Mohawk Valley. Terrell played an all-around match, adding two service aces, two digs, and two solo blocks. She also compiled a 1.000 hitting percentage from two kills and no errors in two total attempts. The win over Mohawk Valley became the third match this season in which Terrell led all participating players in assists, including a season-opening win over Corning when Terrell had 33 assists. Terrell has now logged 121 assists on the season, averaging 5.76 per set. She ranks fifth overall in NJCAA Region 3 in both total assists and assists per set. Her 121 assists are also the 40th most in all of NJCAA Division 3 women's volleyball this season.
