Nicholas Ragonese, Baseball

Nicholas Ragonese from the baseball team is this week's SUNY Broome Student-Athlete of the Week. During the week of April 14-20, the Hornets played seven games. In those seven games, Ragonese compiled a stat line of: 6-14 (.429 batting average), 1 home run, 1 triple, 1 double, 5 RBIs, 3 runs scored, 3 stolen bases, and 2 walks drawn. Ragonese was especially effective in a doubleheader on the road against Columbia-Greene which the Hornets swept. Ragonese also assisted the Hornets with his defensive versatility throughout the seven-game stretch by logging reps at five different positions: pitcher, second base, third base, left field, and center field.
