Sage Tifft, Women's Cross Country

Sage Tifft from the women's cross country team is this week's SUNY Broome Student-Athlete of the Week. Last Saturday, Tifft was crowned the 2025 Mid-State Athletic Conference (MSAC) Women's Cross Country Conference Champion after she took 1st place in the women's race at the MSAC Conference Championship meet. Tifft completed the 5K race in a time of 26:29 en route to her conference championship. After the race, Tifft was honored as the 2025 MSAC Female Runner of the Year. With this outstanding performance, she looks poised to excel yet again at the NJCAA Region 3 Championship meet this upcoming Saturday, which could put her in position to qualify for the NJCAA Division 3 National Championship meet.
