Tyrell Davender from the men's basketball team was named the SUNY Broome Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of January 26 through February 1, 2026. Tyrell scored a total of 36 points across three games in the week. He averaged 12.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.0 steal during the week. Davender's performances helped lead SUNY Broome to wins in two of the three contests on the week.
