Kasey Krewson had a big day for the Hornets on Saturday but it wasn't enough to overcome Cayuga's first quarter lead, dropping the home contest 64-36.  Cayuga got out to a 26-2 first quarter lead and was never threatened for the remaining three quarters.  The Spartans saw four players reach double digits while the Hornets had two.

Kasey Krewson had a monster day for Broome posting a triple-double.  Krewson led all scorers with 17 points, grabbed 12 boards and blocked 11 shots, all collegiate highs for the freshman.  Janasia Perkins came close to a double-double, she had 10 points and 9 rebounds.

Broome travels to Corning on Wednesday for a MSAC game against the Red Barons beginning at 5:30 P.M.
